Behind “ELO” is the 31-year-old Würzburg DJ and producer Stefan Ole Linseisen. ELO as an “art figure” is also by the exterior rather a mystical figure that turns to melodic techno. All songs have all an epic sound influence, which is complemented by driving techno beats. In an interview it was described by a reporter as a mix of “Paul Kalkbrenner and Hans Zimmer”. Every single track gets this appropriate touch through the use of violins and cellos. Thus ELO manages to put the listener musically in a trance. A mixture of rhythmic sounds and “carpet techno”. At live performances ELO is supported by live violinists of La Finesse from Aschaffenburg.
